Due to structural changes, we are looking for a new head chef for our paradisiacal hotel and restaurant on Lake Lucerne who would like to help us take our restaurant to a new culinary level.

• Solid professional training as a cook with experience in similar positions

• KOPAS certification is an advantage

Your tasks

• Assistance and optimization in purchasing food and goods

• Assistance with management, inventory and budget management

• Development of the menu and banquet menu

• Independent organisation, management and training of the entire kitchen area

• Preparing food and creating recipes

• Carrying out monthly inventories

• Assistance with recruitment and sole training of new team members in the kitchen and office

• Preparation of work plans

• Implementation of the quality and hygiene standards HACCP

• Identification of new cooking techniques and trends in gastronomy

• Support in achieving corporate goals

• Management, promotion and motivation of the kitchen and office team

• Not only will you be responsible for administrative work and team management, but you will also be cooking yourself.
